Chief Digital/Data Officer

Supply Ontario is continuing to build its foundational infrastructure, and planning for how the agency can best provide services. As the procurement commercial face for government, Supply Ontario works across the system to build an integrated, efficient, and strategic supply chain that benefits the economy, businesses, customers, and Ontarians.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Chief Digital/Data Officer is accountable for the strategic direction and priorities for the data and integrated digital strategy. This person is also accountable for providing overall leadership of the planning, development, and management of data and digital frameworks, enterprise information technology as well as planning, development and management of related programs, policies, and services for Supply Ontario.

The successful candidate will bring a highly strategic mindset and will most likely come from a large, complex environment. They will make use of a track record of digital solution design and development, cloud-based tools to shape and deliver a world-class digital strategy aligned with Supply Ontario’s priorities.

You will possess an ability to build effective and influential relationships with key senior stakeholders and to facilitate the implementation and enablement of digital capabilities and transformation. Knowledge of current and emerging technologies for digital environments is essential, as is strong political and business acumen to manage complex issues and communicate with a broad audience.
