Supply Ontario is a provincial agency with an ambitious mandate to transform and modernize the province’s public sector supply chain management system. The SVP Supply Chain Delivery (SVP) is accountable for the strategic direction and priorities, and provides overall leadership to the development of the supply chain delivery strategy, aligned with category management goals and objectives that support the overall Supply Ontario strategic direction, financial objectives, and customer expectations. The SVP will lead supply chain management functions, including but not limited to, enhancing customer experience by serving as Supply Ontario’s business concierge, implementing changes to categories, managing negotiated price lists, and acting as the internal face of Supply Ontario to the business entities.
The ideal candidate brings leadership competencies including the ability to effectively focus resources to implement supply chain management strategies and commitment around Supply Ontario’s vision and goals, and drive innovation and change.
Experienced working with Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement approaches you bring at least 10 years’ experience in progressively responsible management or leadership positions across multiple functions, and/or previous executive leadership experience, specifically with complex business supply chain management operations and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
