Description
The Consistent Educational Resources Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement is established to support all Ontario School Boards by providing access to high-quality, curriculum-aligned learning resources for students in Grades 1 through 12 across all subject areas. Nelson Education LTD., through their Edwin platform, will serve as the single channel through which consistent classroom learning resources are made available to teachers across Ontario.
What’s New?
The new Consistent Educational Resources VOR arrangement is designed to provide a centralized and streamlined approach to accessing curriculum-aligned classroom resources and will encompass the following:
- Provide a wide range of high-quality, curriculum-aligned learning resources covering Grades 1 to 12 across all subject areas;
- Enable educators to access digital learning materials from anywhere within Ontario, supporting both in-class and remote learning environments;
- Maintain and update educational content regularly to ensure alignment with Minister-issued Ontario curriculum requirements;
- Deliver and support an online learning platform, Edwin, which will serve as a centralized hub for educators to access, manage, and integrate resources into their instructional practices;
Through this arrangement, educators will benefit from consistent, flexible, and easy access to high-quality classroom resources, helping to enhance student engagement, achievement, and overall learning outcomes.
The vendor was selected through a competitive RFB process. The term of the VOR Arrangement is four years with an option to extend for up to two additional two-year terms.
