Description
The Cyber Safety Learning Resource Vendor of Record (VOR) Arrangement encompasses the development and delivery of comprehensive cyber safety learning and awareness resources for Ontario’s K–12 education sector, aligned with the Ontario curriculum in English and French.
The educational content will address a broad range of topics that are kept up-to-date and relevant, essential to digital citizenship, safety and well-being, including but not limited to:
- Online safety and well-being
- Data privacy
- Bullying, cyberbullying and other types of risks
- Digital literacy and communication
- Digital etiquette, responsibility and consent
- Effects of screen time and internet use on mental health and well being
- Critical thinking related to online content including social media and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Combating misinformation and disinformation
- Strategies for prevention
- Personal protection online
- Managing digital footprint and online presence
- How to seek help or assistance related to online experiences
Vendors were selected through an open competitive RFB process. The term of the VOR Arrangement is four years with an option to extend the agreement for two additional two-year terms under the same terms and conditions.
