In response to the U.S. tariffs on Canadian products and services, a Procurement Restriction Policy has been put in place, restricting Ontario public sector organizations from buying from U.S. businesses.
Many vendors are receiving requests for information about their headquarters and presence in Canada from many public sector buyers.
The Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP) is available for vendors to register and provide this information once for use by all buyers to whom the policy applies.
Vendors not currently registered on OTP should create a profile and provide information about your organization’s head office and the number of employees you have in Ontario.
Supply Ontario will be generating a report to make available only to buyers in search of this information.
