The Government of Ontario is inviting broader public sector organizations to review and provide comments on proposed Buy Ontario policies and a regulation under the Buy Ontario Act (Public Sector Procurement), 2025. The proposed policies address procurement related to light duty fleet vehicles and construction, with the objective of promoting and strengthening Ontario’s economy, supporting local businesses, and enhancing the resilience of domestic supply chains.
These policies, once established, are intended to apply to:
- ministries and provincial agencies, and
- organizations within the broader public sector
- municipalities and local boards in Ontario
Given the important role that broader public sector organizations play in front line public service delivery, we encourage you to review the proposals and provide your feedback.
