Description
The Specialized Assessment Disability Management Services (SADMS) Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement provides streamlined access to qualified professionals who deliver specialized assessment and disability management services. This flexible procurement framework enables organizations to efficiently obtain expert support, ensuring consistent standards, timely service delivery, and value for money.
The VOR encompasses the following eight (8) Service Categories:
Service Category 1 – Job Demands Analysis
- Detailed assessments of the physical, cognitive, behavioural, and environmental requirements of job tasks.
Service Category 2 – Disability Related Ergonomic Services
- Comprehensive ergonomic evaluations to identify risks and inform appropriate accommodation strategies.
Service Category 3 – Functional Abilities Evaluation Services
- Standardized functional testing to determine an employee’s capacity to meet job demands.
Service Category 4 – Independent Medical/Health Evaluation Services
- Coordinated medical and health assessments performed by qualified practitioners.
Service Category 5 – Job Coaching Services
- Workplace based coaching to support job performance, adaptation, and reintegration.
Service Category 6 – Comprehensive Vocational Assessment Services
- In depth evaluations of skills, aptitudes, and transferable competencies to support employment planning.
Service Category 7 – Vocational Services
- Resume counselling, job search assistance, and related supports to enhance employability.
Service Category 8 – Human Resources Case Management Services
- End to end disability management, including sick leave adjudication, WSIB claim support, accommodation reviews, and return to work planning.
The SADMS VOR is structured across two (2) Service Areas to ensure province wide coverage. Vendors who are qualified for a given Service Category may be qualified in either one Service Area or both:
- Service Area 1 – Central, Eastern, and Western Ontario
- Service Area 2 – Northern Ontario
The six (6) year term of this VOR commenced on July 3, 2022, and expires on July 2, 2028.
